Asbestos Bid
The City of Wahoo is accepting bids for the removal of asbestos from our former City Hall located at 605 North Broadway, Wahoo, Nebraska. This building was constructed in 1959 and has housed various City functions (admin, police, fire, library) since that time. In the late 1980’s there was some work done to contain the asbestos in the building, so we have been able to continue to use the space, but we are now ready to do a full remodel of the space and need to have all asbestos removed from the structure. The building is vacant currently, except for two rooms in the basement that do not contain any asbestos that we must continue to occupy during this removal process. These rooms will have stored items only and will not be a space we need to access during the removal process.
We have provided the asbestos evaluation report and a quoting information packet, contract, and submittal document for you to provide your quote. We will also require that you submit evidence of your Nebraska licensing as an asbestos removal company and a current certificate of insurance.
