POWER PLANT INTERNSHIP
Are you an individual who wants to gain hands-on experience in the power generation industry?
Wahoo Utilities is excited to offer an internship positions with our power plant team. This is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to learn from industry experts and contribute to our growing energy needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the power plant.
- Support the team with data collection and analysis.
- Participate in the load control program.
- Assist in the monitoring operations and maintenance of diesel engines
- Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Power/Line school).
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- The ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Utilization of hand and power tools to perform repair tasks.
